Our Children
Welcome to Balmoral Class
At Welford & Wickham, Years Reception, 1 & 2 are taught together as Balmoral class. Mrs Crosse is the class teacher with Mrs Collis also teaching on a Monday. Mrs Barrett is there to help us everyday and Mrs Miller join us to work with individuals and small groups.
Each day we have English, maths and phonics. In the afternoons we concentrate on developing other areas of learning such as R.E, PSHE, Geography, P.E, Music and Science. Every day the reception children will have the opportunity for independent learning where they plan their own time and use their interests to explore and apply the skills that they have learnt.
